About

Hi,
My web name is Nadz Lala, I am a software engineer living in Auckland, New Zealand.

I am a specialist software development engineer and architect and lately my interests have been more in Big Data, IoT and Blockchain.
I have a BSc with double majors  in Computer Science and Information Systems. Thinking of pursuing Phd one day when I have some time off.

This blog which I started in 2005 is musings of my daily work and what I think about each technology as I use it.
I have programmed in more than 12+ languages starting with C and now doing Angular, Hadoop and R.

Being a software engineering contractor, I have worked for academia, banking, design agencies, military, resort systems, and government departments.

I have interests in real estate, interior designing, 3D graphic modelling and also farming (because I am a seasonal farmer).

When I am free of work, I spend time with families and friends, play football, billiards, write poetry, and also run half-marathons.
